While often thought of as a practice for the young and bendy, yoga is actually a practice for well-being, regardless of age.

Numerous studies now point to the efficacy of yoga as having a remarkable effect on our physical, mental, and emotional health as we grow older.

Yoga can address concerns related to strength, flexibility, balance, agility, cardiovascular health, brain health, and stress management, among other issues.

This series of classes has been designed to introduce you to practices that will help you maintain vitality and equanimity as you age.

The class is suitable for anyone, of any age, who can move up and down from the floor with relative ease, and who want to develop lifelong skills for wellbeing.

This series has the beginner in mind but is also very relevant for experienced practitioners.

Over 5 weekly online classes you will learn essential skills for developing and maintaining:

  • strength
  • flexibility
  • agility
  • balance
  • equanimity

These are all important for our health as we age and it is never to late to begin developing skills in these areas. In my sixties now, I can recommend from personal experience the difference yoga makes.
